Yollocalli / Goodman Theater Performing Arts
The Yollocalli Youth Museum has just completed the fourth year of the collaboration with the Goodman Theatre and Gallery 37. This program was initiated in 1998 and it continues to be a success in 2001.

Working with the directors and artists of the Goodman Theatre, Yollocalli students were introduced to the lengthy process involved in producing a successful theater production, which included selecting and adapting prose and poetry to a script for the stage, acting, set and costume design, lighting decisions, and promotion of the production.

In 2001 the students produced an adaptation of Maria De La Luz Lights the World. The students returned to give a superb performance.
